Pastry Chef, Terra Sharp

Pastry Chef Terra Sharp's interests in the pastry arts began at age nineteen. While attending school for graphic arts, she started working at a small café in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Primarily she was a barista, but Terra frequently visited the pastry kitchen to marvel at the delicately piped chocolate hearts and stars. As her fascination with pastry grew, she began assisting the chef after completing her regular shifts in the café. During her time at the café, Terra discovered her passion for baking and reinforced her desire to pursue a career as a pastry chef. She eventually became a full-time baker.

When Terra is not preparing seasonal delicacies in our pastry kitchen, she spends time teaching the art of baking and specifically lends her expertise to children. Over the years she has held various cooking, teaching, and pastry chef positions in restaurants and catering companies on the east and west coast. Terra is now proud to take an active role with us here at the Larks Home-Kitchen Cuisine Restaurant and Ashland Springs Hotel.
